Sock Club at Cast Away

Showing off the goods

As you may have guessed, I love to knit socks. Knitting socks is what pulled me back into knitting in a way I never knew was possible. When my LYS, Cast Away in Santa Rosa, CA opened  two years ago and was looking for knitting teachers, I thought sock knitting was something I knew inside and out and would love to teach. I've been teaching for 2 years now and I love it. In March of this year, we formed a Sock Club at Cast Away. I chose patterns and yarn for us to knit gorgeous socks of all different sorts: toe-up, top-down, 2-at-a-time, entrelac, guernsey, and colorwork. We have had a great time getting together every other month to knit socks and to support and cheer each other on.
